Transpose
Suppose
you
learn
to
play
a
song—in
the
key
of
C,
for
example—and
decide
you
want
to
sing
it,
only
to
find
it’s
either
too
high
or
too
low
for
your
voice.
Your
choice
is
to
either
learn
the
song
all
over
again,
in
a
different
key,
or
to
use
the
TRANSPOSE
feature.
Adjust
the
key
with
the
UP
and
DOWN
buttons.

If
the
two
buttons
are
pressed
at
the
same
time,
the
key
returns
to
C.
®
When
a
TRANSPOSE
buiton
is
pressed,
the
transposed
key
is
shown
on
the
MUSICAL
DISPLAY.

depending
on

selected

The
rhythm
unit
consists
of
rhythm
selector
buttons,
start/stop
devices,
beat
indicators,
and
volume
and
speed
controls.
The
rhythm
is
selected
by
pressing
the
2
buttons
on
the
right
and
the
9
buttons
across
the
bottom
of
the
matrix.
*
Forsomerhythms,
a
different
pattern
is
produced
with
the
BASS
&
ACCOMP
1
(or
2)
and
3
(or
4)
buttons.
The
START/STOP
button
instantly
starts
and
stops
the
drum
rhythm.
The
rhythm
always
starts
on
the
first
beat
of
a
measure.
The
BEAT
indicators
light
to
indicate
the
beat.
This
helps
you
relate
the
drum
rhythms
to
the
music
and
helps
you
keep
track
of
“where
you
are”
while
playing.
SYNCHRO
START
starts
the
drum
rhythm
you've
chosen
only
when
a
key
on
the
left
part
is
pressed
(keys
to
the
left
of
F2
#
if
the
keyboard
has
not
been
split).
The
DRUMS
buttons
in
the
BALANCE
section
allow
you
to
adjust
the
loudness
of
the
drums
to
be
in
perfect
balance
with
the
piano
voices.
TEMPO
adjusts
how
fast
or
siow
the
rhythm
is
played.

The
tempo
is
shown
on
the
MUSICAL
DISPLAY.
When
the
METRONOME
button
is
turned
on,
the
metronome
sound
can
be
used
instead
of
a
drum
rhythm.
Use
the
START/
STOP
button
to
turn
the
metronome
sound
on
and
off.
Turn
the
METRONOME
button
off
when
using
a
drum
rhythm.

rhythm,
select
WALTZ
or
JAZZ
WALTZ.
