The following MIDI functions can be set.

SOUND buttons, when used in conjunction with the
MODE SET button, serve to set the following MIDI
functions.

When this instrument’s TRANSPOSE
function is active, note numbers of the
transposed notes are transmitted.

(default status).
The performance from this instrument does
not sound from this instrument. Set to off
when this instrument is to be used only to
transmit data to connected equipment.
