Technics SX-PX222/M

MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is the international standard for digital communication of electronic
musical instrument data. This means that any equipment which has a MIDI terminal—such as electronic
musical instruments and personal computers—can easily exchange digital data with other MIDI equipment
without resorting to complicated conversions or connections.
About the MIDI terminals
IN: The terminal by which this instrument receives
data from other equipment.
QUT IN OUT: The terminal that transmits data from this
т instrument to other equipment.
e For these connections, use a commercially available
MIDI cable. Contact your Technics dealer for more
information.
e Normal transmitting and receiving of data from
these terminals is only carried out when the switch
of the COMPUTER terminal is set to MIDI. (Refer
to page 20.)

While pressing the MODE SET button, use the 16 low-
