5 Installing the DIGITRADIO 21 IR
Notes:
- Do not install or place the device near to sources of heat, such as radiators.
Avoid direct sunlight and very dusty environments.
- Do not select a location for the device with high air humidity, e.g. a sauna
or bathroom, as the precipitation of condensation water could damage the
device. The device is intended for use in a dry environment and in a moderate
climate and must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water.
- Keep the DIGITRADIO 21 IR away from devices that emit intense magnetic fields.
- The maximum mounting height must not exceed 2 metres.
> Fix the supplied mounting plate of the DIGITRADIO 21 IR under the mounting
surface (e.g. a kitchen cupboard). For wooden furniture/cabinets, the screws
supplied (4 x BA4 x 15) can be used.

> Then check that the mounting plate is firmly secured.
> Connect the supplied power cable to the port marked DC IN (15) on the back
of the DIGITRADIO 21 IR and lay the dipole antenna.
> Now push the DIGITRADIO 21 IR into the mounting plate until it clicks into
place.
