8 Initial set-up
When you switch on the DIGITRADIO 21 CD IR for the first time, the initial set-up
wizard is launched.
All seings can subsequently be changed at any time.
When carrying out the initial setup, follow the radio operating method for
selecting and seing in menus as described in Section 7.
> Select using your preferred operating language with the SCROLL/SELECT
knob and confirm your selection.
> Pay aention to the data protection information in the radio display and
confirm that you have read it.
> To start the initial setup wizard, select the [YES] field and confirm.
> In the next step you can select the time format. Select the seing you prefer
([12] or [24]) and confirm.
> You must then select the source (DAB+, FM or Internet) via which the
DIGITRADIO 21 IR obtains and updates the time and date.
If you have selected [Update from NET], the next step is to select the time
zone so that the time is displayed correctly, and whether daylight saving time
or standard time applies at the time of seing.
The radio then searches for available wireless networks.
> Select the WLAN network you recognise and then select the preferred
connection method.
[Press buon] Start WPS function (please refer to the procedure for
your router)
[PIN] Start WPS function with a PIN (please refer to the
procedure for your router)
[Skip WPS] Enter the network key manually (you only need to
enter it once)
