8 DAB+ (digital radio) function
8.1 What is DAB+?
DAB+ is a digital format through which crystal clear sound can be enjoyed, with
no noise. In contrast to conventional analogue radio stations, DAB+ can be used to
broadcast multiple stations on the same frequency. Further information on DAB+ or
DAB+ availability in your location can be found, for example, at www.dabplus.de or
www.dabplus.ch.
8.2 DAB+ (digital radio) reception
> Press the MODE buon until [DAB+] is shown on the display.
If DAB+ is being started for the first time, a complete station scan is performed.
Aer the scan is complete, the first station is played back in alphanumeric order.
8.3 Performing a full scan
The automatic scan Full scan scans all DAB+ Band III stations and thereby finds
all stations being broadcast within the reception range.
