5.4 General device functionality
5.4.1 Switching on the device
> In order to guarantee good DAB+ / FM reception, please fully extend the antenna
located on the back of the device. To do so, please refer to Section5.3.3.
> First prepare the TECHNIRADIO 3 for operation as described in Sections 5.3.1
and 5.3.2.
> Press the /Mode buon to switch on the TECHNIRADIO 3.
Aer switching on the device for the first time, you must first set the [Language].
Using the <Tune or Tune> buons, select one of the available languages
and confirm the selection by pressing the Select buon. The device then
automatically performs a complete scan in DAB mode. While scanning, the
display information shows the progress as well as the number of digital radio
stations detected. Aer completing the station scan the first DAB+ channel is
played.
