Initial operation
Open the cover from the clocks battery compartment.
Insert 2 x AA batteries into the battery compartment while observing polarity ( “+” and
–“ marks).
Close the cover on the battery compartment again.
When you insert the batteries, all segments of the LCD display will light up for 3 seconds, you will
hear a beep tone and the clock starts to measure the indoor temperature.
Then the clock will enter the radio controlled time signal reception mode.
Reception of the DCF-77 signal
The clock automatically starts the DCF-77 signal search after any restart or changing of new
fresh batteries. The radio mast icon starts to flash.
At 2:00 AM, the clock automatically carries out the synchronization procedure with the DCF
