4.2 Leak test cycle with two phases
4.2.1 Operating principle
The two-phases leak test is similar to the three-phases test: The only difference is that in the
two-phases test, time T1 includes both the filling and the settling phase and it is not possible
to set it at 0 (zero)
Time T2 is the measuring phase of the pressure decay.
The valves, opened when starting, are closed when the pressure reaches the set test rated
value.
4.2.2 Two-phase testing cycle (T1, T2)
Test running:
Filling/settling time T1
xx.x: Remaining T1 time (decreasing value).
yyyy : Line pressure read by the pressure sensor.
The valves, opened when starting, are closed when the
pressure reaches the Pr rated value.
Test running:
Time T2, measurement of the pressure decay Dp
xx.x: Remaining T2 time (decreasing value).
yyyy : Pressure decay detected (with sign).
4.3 Errors relating to the testing cycle
This page is displayed if, at the end of the "Filling" or "Settling"
time, the line pressure is not within the set %Pr max and %Pr
min limits or if the test has been interrupted by an alarm.
The word "Failed" is displayed if the pressure is lower than the
set %Pr min limit at the end of the settling time (Largely Failed).
The red led blinks up to the beginning of a new test.
In case of error with alarm, the type of error that interrupted
the test is indicated.
The red led blinks up to the beginning of a new test.
