8. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read the instruction manual in its entirety before using this laser rangender. Please
adhere to the following guidelines in order to use the equipment properly
and avoid injury.
• DO NOT aim directly at the sun
• DO NOT power on the unit while looking into the objective lens or the
light-receiving aperture
• DO NOT operate the laser rangender with additional optical elements
• DO NOT disassemble the laser rangender as this will void the warranty
• DO NOT aim at the eyes of other people or animals
• Keep the laser rangender away from children
• Should the rangender come in contact with sand, mud, or any type of liquid this
should be removed immediately using a dry, soft cloth
• Although the laser rangender is water and dust resistant, it is not waterproof and
should not be used in water
• Do not place the laser rangender on any unstable surface as a fall may damage it
Always store the rangender at room temperature and never keep it in a very hot or
very cold car. When putting away the rangender for the o-season, always remember
to rst remove the battery.

1. Reinsert the battery
2. Be sure the polarity (+/-) of the battery is correct
3. Clean the battery contacts
4. Make sure the battery is not drained
5. Press the power button rmly
