Why is my TEFAL Iron producing no steam?

  If your TEFAL Iron isn't producing steam, several factors could be at play. Firstly, ensure the water tank is adequately filled. Secondly, confirm that the anti-calc cartridge is correctly installed and locked in its compartment. Steam production requires a suitable temperature setting, so adjust the thermostat control to the coloured zone (••• or MAX). If you're initiating steam usage for the first time or after a prolonged period, press the steam control button, directing it away from the ironing board, until steam emerges. If you've recently filled the tank or replaced the anti-calc cartridge, prime the pump by continuously pressing the steam control button for a few minutes, pointing it away from your linen.

  If your TEFAL Iron is producing little steam, it may be due to a few reasons. Ensure the anti-calc cartridge is correctly installed and locked in its compartment. Also, make sure that the thermostat control is set in the coloured zone (••• or MAX). If the water tank is empty, fill it. If you are using steam for the first time, press on the steam control button away from your ironing board until the iron produces steam. If you have just filled the tank or changed the anti-calc cartridge, press the steam control button continuously for few minutes pointing it away from your linen, in order to prime the pump.
