BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Removeallofthevariouspackaging,stickersoraccessoriesfromboththeinsideand
outsideofthekettle.
2. Adjustthelengthofthecordbywindingitunderthebase.Wedgethecordintothe
notch.(g 1)
Throwawaythewaterfromthefirsttwo/threeusesasitmaycontaindust.Rinsethe
kettleandthefilterseparately.
USE
1. TO OPEN THE LID, ACCORDING TO THE MODEL
– Hingedlid:pressifnecessaryonthelockingsystemandpullbackwards.(g 2)
– Assistedopeninglid:pressonthelockingsystemandthelidliftsautomatically.(g 3 / g 3.1)
– Automaticopeninglid:pressthebuttonatthetopofthehandle.(g 4)
– Lockablelid:turnthelidtothelefttounlockitandliftit.(g 5)
 Toclosethelid,pressitdownfirmlyorturnittotherightinthecaseofthelockablelid.

Removablelid:donotuseyourkettlewithoutitslid.Incasethelidislostorbroken,
pleasecontactyourafter-salesservicecenter.(g 5.1)
2. PLACE THE BASE ON A FLAT, STABLE, HEAT-RESISTANT SURFACE AWAY FROM
WATER SPLASHES AND ANY SOURCES OF HEAT.

3. FILL THE KETTLE WITH THE DESIRED AMOUNT OF WATER. (g 6)

4. POSITION THE KETTLE ON ITS BASE. PLUG IT INTO THE MAINS SOCKET.
