How to troubleshoot a tefen Water Pump that does not work?

If your Tefen Water Pump isn't working, ensure the arrows on the pump align with the water flow direction. If they don't, install the pump correctly. Also, ensure the inlet and outlet valves are open and that the inlet filter is clean to maintain water pressure. Check the system input filter and ensure it is clean. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the springs may be broken, the cylinder scratched or the piston seals damaged, requiring you to change the motor, cylinder or seals, respectively. For bypass installation issues, disconnect the water outlet hose and check for water returning to the pump. If the pump is working, ensure the water pressure at the outlet is equal to or greater than the water pressure at the main line.
