If these steps don't resolve the issue, the springs may be broken, the cylinder scratched or the piston seals damaged, requiring you to change the motor, cylinder or seals, respectively. For bypass installation issues, disconnect the water outlet hose and check for water returning to the pump. If the pump is working, ensure the water pressure at the outlet is equal to or greater than the water pressure at the main line.
