EAS1:STATE?

might return : MEASUREMENT:MEA S1:STATE 0

indicating that measurement deﬁned for measurement slot 1 is disabled.

MEASUrement:MEAS<x>:STDdev? (Query Only)

Returns the standard deviation of values accumulated for this measurement since

the last statistical reset. Measurements are speciﬁed by <x>, the measurement

slots, from 1 through 4.

Sets or returns the measurement type deﬁned for the speciﬁed measurement slot.

The measurement slot is speciﬁed by <x>, which ranges from 1 through 4.

MEASUrement:MEAS<x>:TYPe?

Arguments

AMPlitude measures the amplitude of the selected waveform. In other words, it

measures the high value less the low value measured over the entire wa veform or

gated region. This measurement is available only on DPO models.

Amplitude = High – Low

AREa measures the voltage over time. The area is over the entire waveform or

gated region and is measured in volt-seconds. The area measured above the

ground is positive, while the area below ground is negative. This measurement is

available only o n DPO models.

BURst measures the duration of a burst. The measurement is made over the entire

waveform or gated region.
