Usage Features:

Mounting:

The device is mounted by inserting the fixing pins of the stand into the bracket holes on the bottom of the unit, then sliding the unit backward until it clicks. The suction cup is pressed onto a surface in the car, then pushed along the bar to the windshield, ensuring it's properly fixed. The angle can be adjusted by loosening the washer and bending the assembly knot. To unmount, pull the stand towards you and lift the plastic ear on the suction cup.

Power and Charging:

The unit's battery can be charged by connecting its USB port to a PC with the supplied USB cable or to a car lighter socket with the supplied car adapter. A power icon on the bottom right of the display indicates the remaining battery power.

Recording:

Before recording, a MicroSD memory card (up to 32 GB, class 4 or higher) must be inserted into the memory card slot until it clicks. The device will turn off after card insertion to preserve information, requiring a press of the POWER button to turn it back on. Licensed MicroSD cards from famous brands are recommended for optimal performance.

  • Auto Recording: Recording starts automatically when the unit is connected to a car power source. It continues recording according to settings after power disconnection.
  • Manual Recording: Press the POWER button to switch on the unit (press and hold to switch off). In recording mode, a camera symbol in the top left corner indicates readiness. Press the OK button to start/stop recording.
  • Taking Photos: Press the OK button in recording mode to take photos.
  • Recording Time: Displayed in white figures in the top right corner. Video files are saved automatically every 1, 2, or 3 minutes (configurable in settings). When the memory card is full, older files are deleted to make space for new recordings.
  • LED Lights: Automatically activated in low light conditions if set to Auto mode in settings.
  • Motion Detector Recording: Available when activated in the settings menu. The unit enters recording mode if motion is detected in front of the lens. After recording a fragment, it returns to standby until new motion is detected.
  • G-sensor: If an impact overload (exceeding 1g = 9.8m/s^2) occurs, the current video fragment is automatically protected from re-recording.
  • SOS Function: Pressing the BLOCK button during video recording protects the current fragment from re-recording.
  • Sound Mute/Screen Shut Off: During recording, press UP to mute sound, or DOWN to force the screen to shut off.

Playback Mode:

Stop recording and press the M button to enter playback mode. Use UP/DOWN buttons to select a file, then press OK to play/pause. In file playback mode, holding the M button brings up a menu to delete, protect, or slide show files. Select an option and press OK to confirm.

AV and HDMI Output:

The unit can be connected to an external audio-video device (e.g., car TV) via the AV out port with the supplied audio-video cable, or via the HDMI output (HDMI cable not supplied) for high-quality digital signals.

Setup:

In recording mode, hold the M button to choose Video/Photo/Playback mode. Press M again to enter the setup menu for the current mode. Use UP/DOWN buttons to select settings, and OK to adjust options. Some menu items may be greyed out and unadjustable. The menu may change without prior notice.
