If you hear others only sporadically, or the sound is distorted and unintelligible on your Telex Headsets, try the following: Check and clean the connectors, then reconnect them to the aircraft. Reposition the headphones to ensure they properly cover your ears. Also, replace the ear cushions if they are missing or need replacement. If the issue persists, an authorized avionics technician needs to verify the compatibility and proper function of the intercom system. Adjust the headphone volume as needed. If none of these steps work, the headphones may not be functioning and should be returned to an authorized repair center for maintenance.
