WARNING:
Before using the equipment, read carefully all
instructions.
1. GENERAL SAFETY FOR OPERATING THIS
EQUIPMENT
- During charging, the batteries emit explosive
gasses: avoid generating ames and sparks.
DO NOT SMOKE.
- Before carrying out the test, position the
batteries in a ventilated place.
- In order to prevent damage to the vehicles’
electronics, carefully read, store safely and
scrupulously observe the instructions provided
by the manufacturers of the vehicles themselves;
the same applies to indications supplied by the
batteries manufacturer.
- Keep away from the reach of children.
- Protect the eyes. Always wear protective
goggles when working on lead-acid batteries.
- Avoid contact with battery acid. Should anyone
be sprayed by or come into contact with the
acid, wash immediately the part involved with
clean water. Continue to rinse until a doctor will
attend to the person affected.
- It is important to connect the cables to the
correct polarities. Connect the red clamp (+) to
the battery’s positive terminal, the black clamp
(-) to the negative (earth).
- Use this equipment in well ventilated areas.
