ON/OFF button
Start-up: switch on your motor by pressing the ON/OFF button on the display for 1
second. Insert the battery carefully, paying attention to the direction of insertion!
Wait 5 seconds for the electronics to boot up. Pass the strap around your wrist.
Insert the magnetic key into its slot. Turn the control handle. The propeller cannot
be activated without the magnetic key. The wrist strap and magnetic key are to be
attached to the hemsman's wrist so that in the event of a fall over board, the engine
is stopped ("emergency shutdown”).
Trim / sha height: For maximum performance, make sure that the propeller is posi-
tioned below the hull (shaft height adjustment) and that your motor is vertical when
using it (trim setting).
