INSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONS:
BeforeInstalling:
Checkunitfordamage.Airconditionersare
inspectedatfactory.Ifanydamagehas
occurred,savethepackagingmaterialsandfile
aclaimwiththedeliveringcarrierwithinfifteen
workingdays.Suitablepowersourceandwater
drainmustbeavailableatthelocation.
ElectricalSupply:
TheTC‐120’smustbewiredtoexistingpower
circuitsbyqualifiedpersonalinaccordancewith
allNEC,stateandlocalcodes.Thewiringwill
bedeterminedbytheintendedapplicationand
locationoftheairconditioner
WiringInstructions:
TC‐120Bairconditionersrequirethreephase
power,whichmeansinadditiontohavingthe
propervoltageandampacityforthesupply
circuitthewiresmustbewiredin theproper 
sequencetotheterminalsintheunit.If
connectedincorrectly,theblowersand 
compressorswillrotateinthewrongdirection.

Theblowerswillnotbeharmed,buttheywill
notdelivertherequiredamountofairfor
properoperation.Thecompressor,however,
canbeharmedbyreversingtherotation,and
shouldnotbeallowedtooperateformorethan
afewsecondsinthewrongdirection.The
compressorwillbe
noisyifoperating
backwards.
Theunitscomewithaphasemonitorthat
protectsthemagainstincorrectphase
connections.Iftheincomingpowerisoutof
phasewiththewiringintheairconditionerthe
phasemonitorwillnotenablepowertothe
controlcircuitandtheredPhaseMonitor
warninglight
willcomeon.Ifthephase
monitorisondisconnectthepowerand
interchangeanytwopowerleadscominginto
thecircuit,thephasewarningli ghtshouldgo
outandtheunitshouldoperatenormally.
UNITOPERATION:
PlacingtheUnit:
1. Locatetheunitonaflat,levelsurface,ina
locationwhereitisoutofthewayandnot
likelytobedamagedbypassingtraffic.The
unitcanbelocatedindoorsoroutdoors.
2. Keepenteringandleavingairopeningsfree
ofobstructions.Maintainatleast
36”clearancefrom
anyairintakeor
dischargeand48”fromanyaccessdooror
panel.
3. Attach3/8”insidediameterflexiblehoseto
thebarbedcondensatedrainconnec tionat
theendoftheunitandlocatethefreeend
ofthetubeatadrainorotherareawhere
thecondensatewater
canbedischarge d
safely.Thehosecannotextentmorethan
10feetabovethelevelofthebarbed
connectionorthepumpwillnotpump
properly.Thehoseshouldberunas
straightaspossibleandmustnothavekinks
orbelocatedwhereitmaybepinchedoff.
Theunit
willnotoperateifthecondensate
pumpcannotemptyproperly.
4. Attachanyrequiredaccessoriesand
ductwork.
5. Attachtheremotethermostatinsertingthe
sevenconductorplugintothereceptacleon
theendoftheunit.
6. Havetheunitconnectedtoanacceptable
powersourcebyaqualifiedelectrician.
7. Applypowerbyturningtheunitmounted
circuitbreakertotheONposition.
8. SetthethermostattoCo olingand setthe
desiredtemperature.Ifthereisnothing
displayedonthethermostatitmayneed
batteries.Seethethermostatinstruction
sheetattheendofthisma nualfordetails.

batteries;buttheunitmustbepoweredand
