Function Description:

The TENAMIC FINGERPRINT GUN SAFE-GF101 is a security safe that utilizes both fingerprint recognition and a keypad for access. It is designed to protect its contents from unauthorized access. The safe includes an internal light that automatically illuminates upon opening and turns off after 30 seconds. It also features a vibration alarm function to deter tampering and a wrong input alarm function that activates after multiple incorrect password or fingerprint attempts. An external battery compartment is provided for emergency power in case the internal batteries are depleted.

Usage Features:

  • First-Time Opening: The safe is opened using the emergency key. The keyhole cover is removed with a lever, the key is inserted and rotated, and the door opens automatically. The emergency key should be kept in a safe place.
  • Battery Installation: 4 AA batteries are inserted into the battery compartment, aligning with the "+" and "-" signs. If power is out for more than 30 minutes, the user's password should be reset.
  • Opening the Door: To open, press any button to wake the safe, then enter the factory code "1234" (or a programmed password) or use a registered fingerprint. The green LED will light up, and the door will open.
  • Programming Primary Fingerprint: Hold the set button for 3 seconds until beeps are heard and the keypad flashes 3 times. The LEDs will remain on. Swipe a finger across the fingerprint scanner three times. A green light will flash for each valid scan. After three scans, the LED light will go out, indicating successful programming. Up to 28 fingerprints can be programmed using the same method.
  • Programming Password: Hold the set button for 3 seconds until beeps are heard and the keypad flashes 3 times. The LEDs will remain on. Enter a 3-8 digit user code, then press the set button again to confirm. Two beeps will sound, and the keypad LED light will go out, indicating successful password setting.
  • Vibration Alarm Function: To activate, press "4" for 3 seconds until beeps are heard. If the safe is vibrated, the horn will alarm for 1 minute. To deactivate, press "4" for 3 seconds again.
  • Mute/Unmute Function: To mute, press "1" for 3 seconds until the light goes out. To unmute, press "1" for 3 seconds until the light goes out and beeps are heard, or remove and reinstall the batteries.
  • External Battery Compartment: In case of internal battery exhaustion, an external battery compartment (included) can be plugged into the panel socket to power the safe for emergency use. It is recommended to replace internal batteries after using the external compartment.
  • Mounting: The safe should be mounted in a location with sufficient clearance for the lid to open. Holes are drilled for expansion bolts (for concrete walls) or clamping screws (for wooden walls). The bolts/screws are used to secure the safe to the wall. Ensure the safe door does not face the floor when mounting vertically to prevent property damage.

Maintenance Features:

  • Battery Replacement: When the power supply voltage drops below 5.1V, the light will glow blue after opening the door, and 5 continuous beeps will sound, indicating low battery. Batteries should be replaced promptly.
  • Reset System: To restore factory settings, press the setting button for 6 seconds until a persistent beep is heard. This will reset the system.
  • Wrong Input Alarm: If 5 incorrect passwords or fingerprints are entered, the horn will alarm for 1 minute. The alarm can be stopped by entering the correct fingerprint or password, or by removing the battery.

Warnings and Disclaimers:

  • Emergency keys must never be stored inside the safe.
  • Avoid exposing the safe to extreme heat or cold, as this can affect battery performance.
  • Ensure the door is latched securely after closing.
