Exception Detection
Overview
Navigate to Configuration > Alarm > Exception Detection.
The exception detection function refers to the detection and alarm of exception events. When an
exception event occurs, the system will be alarmed according to the linkage action you set.
Parameter description
Specifies the exception type of alarm detection that is supported by the NVR.
- No HDD: When the HDD is not detected, the system will alarm according
to the corresponding linkage action.
- HDD error: When an error of HDD (such as a read-write error) is detected,
the system will alarm according to the corresponding linkage action.
- HDD space is not enough: When the HDD space is less than 20%, the
system will alarm according to the corresponding linkage action.
- Channel error: When a channel error is detected, the system will alarm
according to the corresponding linkage action.
- Disconnected from the internet: When the Ethernet cable is not
connected to the LAN port or not plugged in tight, the system will alarm
according to the corresponding linkage action.
- IP address conflict: When an IP address conflict is detected in the LAN, the
system will alarm according to the corresponding linkage actin.
- Unauthorized access: When the number of failed password entry attempts
has reached the upper limit, the system will alarm according to the
corresponding linkage action.
