4.5.5 Clip and Export the Recording File
Assume that you want to intercept a target recording and save it to the USB storage device.
The NVR can recognize USB storage devices formatted as FAT32, exFAT and NTFS.
Method 1
It is applicable for the NVR that cannot be connected to the mouse and the USB storage device at
the same time.
Step 1 Log in to the GUI of the NVR.
Step 2 Enter the Playback page to play back the recording file.
Step 3
Click in the lower-left corner.
When multi-channel recordings are played back, the clipped recording file is the file of the
currently selected channels.
Step 4
Set the start time and end time of the editing, which are 00:11:00 to 00:16:00 in this
example, and then click .
Step 5 Set the name of the recording file, which is Alarm in this example, and click Export.
