  If the sealing process on your Terumo BCT Food Saver isn't initiating, several factors could be at play. First, check the electrodes for any moisture or dirt; if present, dry or clean them. Ensure the tube is dry as well. If you notice tiny arcs between the electrodes, drying them might resolve the issue. Also, verify that the trigger clicks fully when squeezed. A low or uncharged battery can also prevent sealing, so charge it for 3 hours. If the trigger does not “click" when it is fully squeezed, change Hand unit or contact your local Terumo BCT representative.
