Unpacking the Cleaner
Remove all packaging from the appliance and accessories. Retain the
packaging. If you dispose of it, do so according to any recycling regula-
tions.
Identify the cleaner components from the illustrations on the previous
page. If any items are missing or damaged, contact your nearest Tesco
store for assistance. Please have your receipt ready when you call.
1. Attaching and Removing the Hose to the Cleaner
To attach the hose: Push the collar rmly into the slots in the Hose
Inlet and check that the collar snaps into place.
To remove the hose: Press the spring latches at the side of the collar
and remove the hose.
2. Attaching the Hose Handle to the Extension Tube
You can use the cleaner using only the hose or with the extension tube
tted to the hose handle. To attach the extension tube, push the exten-
sion tube rmly onto the hose handle - it will t only one way round. To
remove the tube simply pull it o.
3. Attaching the Floor brush
Push the Floor Brush rmly onto
the end of the hose extension (or
directly onto the hose handle if
you are not using the extension
tube).
The Crevice Tool attaches to the
hose in the same way as the oor
brush.
4. Parking and Storing the Cleaner and Attachments
You can park the oor brush when you are not using it on the Stor-
age Hook at the rear or the base of the cleaner. You can also store the
cleaner with the extension tube connected to the oor brush which is in
turn attached to the hook.
Carrying the cleaner
Make sure that the Dust Cup is rmly attached to the cleaner.
When lifting and moving the cleaner always use the handle whenever
possible.
