6 Using the product

Humidity (testo 875-2 only)
The surface humidity is calculated using the manually entered
dewpoint temperature and the measured surface temperatures. In
the display, the areas that are at risk of developing mould are
shown using a special colour palette:
Colour Surface moisture Assessment
green 0…64% noncritical
yellow-
orange
65…80% potentially critical
red >80% critical
If this function is activated ( ), the quick select buttons are
permanently assigned the Dewpoint and Emissivity... functions.
The dewpoint temperature is shown at the upper edge of the
display.
1. [OK] | Measurement | [OK] | Humidity | [OK].
- The Dewpoint dialogue is opened. The dewpoint temperature
can be entered. In addition, the values for ambient temperature
and ambient humidity can be entered for informational purposes
(evaluation by means of IRSoft software).
2. Move Joystick up/down to select the desired option.
- The selected option has an orange border.
3. Confirm the selection with [OK].
- The selected number is highlighted orange.
4. Move Joystick up/down to set the desired value. Move
Joystick right/left to change between the numbers.
5. Confirm the entry with [OK].
6. Confirm the settings with Apply.
Measuring range
The measuring range can be set to adapt to the respective area of
application.
1. [OK] | Measurement | [OK] | Measurement range.
2. Select the desired temperature range and confirm with [OK].
Depending on the scene temperature, the measuring range
may be undershot or exceeded. In this case, --- or +++ is
shown instead of the readings.
> If this occurs, change the measuring range.
