Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid,
irrigate the affected areas at once with copious of clear
water and visit a doctor without delay.
If not used for a long period, remove batteries from the
unit.
Ensure that you switch your receiver off after use.
Cleaning the unit
Before cleaning, pull the AC Adaptor from the mains
outlet. Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the unit. Avoid the
use of chemical solutions and cleaning products
because these may damage the unit's surface and/or
labels.
WHAT IS A PLL TUNER?
A PLL (phase-locked loop) tuner uses a crystal to
stabilise the reception frequency. With a PLL tuner, the
exact frequency of a station can be selected and stored,
which gives constant reception quality of radio stations.
