Calculator Notes for the TI-Nspire
Calculator Note: Histograms
Enter the data set into a list on a Lists and Spreadsheet page. We will use the
data set “weight” that we used in Calculator Note: Entering Lists.
Insert a Data and Statistics page by pressing / ~. Choose Data and
Statistics. You will get a preliminary display of the weight data.
Move your cursor over the phrase “Click to add variable” on the x-axis.
Click on that phrase and you will see a list of possible data sets to use. Choose
“weight.” Press ·.
A Dot Plot is the first representation of the data.
