If you Send…
o TextAlert Will…
o
Z1ON
o
o
Arm that zone (number) – providing the sender is
either the administrator, or has the rights to arm/disarm for that
zone, or uses the password
o
(you can substitute “1” with any other zone number
between 1 & 16 )
o
Z3ON,
Z4OFF, Z5ON, africa
o
Zone 3 will turn on, Zones 4 and 5 will turn off in
this case we’ve added “Africa” – if that is the password
o
ALLON (or
ALLOFF)
o
Will turn all zones that the sender has rights to
administer On (or Off)… and if this message had the password
(e.g. Africa) added to it, it would turn all zones On (or Off)
o
Z5P
[Or perhaps: Z6P, Z8P,
Z11P – to pause several
zones with one message]
o
Will Pause zone 5 for 4 minutes (and then re-activate
it) – providing the sender is either the administrator, or has the
rights to arm/disarm for that zone, or uses the password
o
STATUS
o
Will send you an analysis of it’s state that should be
very obvious to understand: typically, if you have a mix of zones
on and off it will report:
o
Z1:ON
o
Z2:ON
o
Z3:OFF
o
Z4:ON … etc.
HINT: Save your TextAlert’s SIM number (mobile phone number) into your mobile/cell phone
so you don’t want to have to search for it in your address list or type it each time. The first
number in your contacts list can be “A A Office Intruder”. The reason to call it “Intruder” is the
word “Intruder” will immediately get your attention. If anyone hears your phone ring and sees
“Intruder” they will call your attention to it immediately.
