I. Wit h U470644 Seala nt, fillet seal all around the flange edge of the 2613498-1 Forward Fai ring
Assembl y where it is adjacent to th e fuselage.
J. Fay s eal the 2601 212-5 TK S F airing Cover w ith U470 644 Sealant.
K. Install the 2601212-5 TKS F airing Cover ov er the front fairing nose gear cutou t with the fi v e
AN525-10R11 Screws.
L. Fillet seal the 2601212-5 TKS Fairing Cover to the fuselage, nose gear spring, and fairing with
U470644 Se alant.
M. Install the 261346 6-7 Fairing As s embly to the f us elage with t he kept attachment hardware a nd the
five AN525-10R10 Screws.
N. If the camlocks on the nose gear fairing assem bly do not align wit h the 2613466-7 Fairing Assembly
receptacles, do the step s that follow an d then do Ste p 10M:
(1) With a drill, remove the S2319-30 Camlock Receptacle from the 2613466-3 and the 2613466-4
Strip Assemblies.
(2) Wit h a drill, remove t h e 2613466-3 and th e 2613466-4 Strip A ssemblies from the 2613466-7
Fairing Assembly.
(3) Install t w o blank 2613466-200 Strips to the 261346 6-7 F airin g Ass embly with s ix MS20426A4-3
Rivets.
(4) Remov e t he c amlocks fr om the nose fa iring.
(5) Temporarily inst all the 2613466-7 Fairing to the 2613498-1 Forward Fairing an d to t he belly of
the airplane sk in with AN525-10R10 S crew s.
(6) Make marks for the holes in the n os e gear fairin g that will align w ith the 2613466-200 St rips,
and remove the 2613466-7 Fairing.
(7) Drill tw o 0.625 -inc h diam ete r holes in the 2613466-200 Strips.
(8) Put one S2319-30 Camlock Receptacle on each of the 2613466-200 Strips and drill four
0.098-inch di ameter hole s in the 2613466-200 Strips.
(9) Install t he S2319-30 Ca mlo ck Rec eptacles to the 2613466-200 Strips with four MS20426AD4-3
Rivets.
(10) With a permanent m arker, rec ord 2613466-3 for the part number on the left 2613466-200 Strip
and 2613466-4 for the part num ber on the r ight 2613466-200 Strip.
11. (Refer to Figure 17, View A-A, View B-B, and View C-C. ) Connect the ta nk and pallets.
A. Connect the 260155 8-1 Pump 1 Outlet Hose at the 9514 A-1 Pu mp Assem bly and the equipment
pallet with the two S2800-942 Sealing R ings, MN101-20 Sl eev es , and M N4855 Nuts.
B. Connect the 260155 8-2 Pump 2 Outlet Hose at the 9514 A-1 Pu mp Assem bly and the equipment
pallet with the two S2800-942 Sealing rings, MN101-20 Sl eev es , and MN 4855 Nuts.
C. With the MN4856 Nut, MN101-12 Sle ev e, and S2800-943 Sealing Ring, connec t t he H610024 Nylon
Tubing that com es from th e equipmen t pallet to the MN6235 Bulkhead Short Connector.
D. With th e MN6201 Nu t, MN1 01-32 Sl eeve, and 100-013-8810 Seal, connect the H610026 Nylon
Tubing from the filter pall et t o the bulkhead at the MN6216 Bulk head Un equal Tee .
E. Attach t he S2548-10 Hos e at both ends with the S2357-2 Clamps.
12. (Refer to Figure 15.) Do the modification of the fuel reservoir t ank sum p system as follows:
A. Put the fuel shutoff v alves in the OF F position.
B. Drain all fuel from t he re se rvoir tank. (Refer to the Model 208 Mai ntenance Manual, Chapter 28,
Fuel Reservoir - Maintenance P rac tices.)
C. Remove the l ower access cover from the res erv oir tank .
