D. (Re fer t o Figure 10, View D-D.) Install t he 2605070-10 Icing Conditions Placard on the instrument
panel as follows:
(1) Remove the installed icing c onditions placard that is on the inst ru ment panel.
(2) Clean the area where the new pla ca rd is to be installed with isopropyl alco hol. ( Ref er to the
Maintenance Man ual, Chapter 20, Solvents, Sealan ts and Ad hes ives - Maintenanc e Practices. )
(3) Install the 2 605070-10 Ic ing Conditions P lacard on the instrument panel in the pos ition shown.
E. (Refer to Figure 10, View D-D. ) Install the 7000 -2 6 Windshiel d Anti-Ice Placard on t he instrum ent
panel as follows:
(1) Clean the area where the new pla ca rd is to be installed with isopropyl alco hol. ( Ref er to the
Maintenance Man ual, Chapter 20, Solvents, Sealan ts and Ad hes ives - Maintenanc e Practices. )
(2) Install the 7000-26 Wi nds hiel d Ant i-I ce P lacard on the instrument panel in t he position shown.
F. (Refer to Figure 10, View D-D.) I ns ta ll t he 26 05076-5 TKS Opera tional Lim it Placard on the pilot side
of the inst rument panel as follows:
(1) Clean a re a where plac ard is to be installed with isopropyl alcohol. (Refer to the Mai ntenance
Manual, Chapter 20, Solvent s, Sealants and Adhes ives - Maintenance Practices.)
(2) Install the 26 05076-5 TKS Operat ional Limit P lacard on the pilot side of t he instrument panel in
the position shown.
(3) Edge seal the 2605076-5 TKS Operational Limit Placard with clear polyuret hane enam el
topcoat. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20, Exte rior F ini sh - Cleaning/Pa int ing.)
G. (Refer to Figure 10, Detail B.) Inst all the 2605076-4 TKS Operational Limi t P lacard on the side of
thelow-profileTKSfairingasfollows:
(1) Clean a re a where plac ard is to be installed with isopropyl alcohol. (Refer to the Mai ntenance
Manual, Chapter 20, Solvent s, Sealants and Adhes ives - Maintenance Practices.)
(2) Install t he 2605076-4 TK S Operational Lim it Placard on the side of the low-profile TKS fairing
in the position shown.
(3) Edge seal the 2605076-4 TKS Operational Limit Placard with clear polyuret hane enam el
topcoat. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20, Exte rior F ini sh - Cleaning/Pa int ing.)
23. Clean, electrically bond, and do a resistance c heck of the ice protection system. (Refer to t he 208
Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20 , Electrical Bonding - M aint enance P ra ctices. )
A. At the mount bolt, c lean and electrically bond t he 2601553-3 TK S Filter Pallet and the 2601553-14
TKS Accesso ry Pallet.
B. Install an MS25 083-2BB16 Bond Jumper between the 2601553-3 TKS F ilter Pallet and the
2601553-14 TK S Accessory Pallet mount bolts.
C. Make sure that the maximum resistance v alue at t he two pallets is no more than 0.5 oh ms.
24. Review and incorporate the 208BPHBUS -S30-00 TK S Pilot's Operating Handbo ok Supplement, or
later rev ision and the 2 08B PHBUS-02 Pilot's Operating Handb ook and FAA App rove d Airplane Flight
Manual, or l ater revision.
25. Do the operational tests necessary to make sure that all of the systems tha t you changed or worked
in while you installed this TKS syste m operate correctly. (Ref er to the applicable chapters of the 208
Maintenance Manual.)
26. Do a visual inspection f or correct installa tion of the TK S system t ubes and connections and the electrical
connections.
A. Look at th e sy stem nylon tubing in the fusel age (cabin and tailcone), engine com part ment, wing, wing
strut, horizontal stabilizer, and v ertical s tabilizer t o m ak e sure that ther e are no kinks or sharp bends.
