(15) Make sure that the red A-ICE P RE SS LO W annunc iator comes on.
(16) Disconnect the horizontal, l ow-pres s ure swi tch c onnec t or on the right side of the airplane.
(17) Make sure that the red A-ICE PRESS LOW annunciator goes o ff.
(18) Connect th e horizontal, low-pressure switch connector o n the left side of the airplane.
(19) Make sure that the red A-ICE P RE SS LO W annunc iator comes on.
(20) Connect th e horizontal, low-pressure switch connector o n the left side of the airplane.
(21) Make sure that the red A-ICE PRESS LOW annunciator goes o ff.
(22) Put the F LUID CONTROL BACK U P switch to t he OFF po sition.
(23) Connect t he two horizon tal, low pressure s witc hes in the tailcon e.
E. Do the leak test and high pressure switch test as follows:
NOTE: It is possible that the red A-ICE PRESS LOW annuncia tor w il l come on momentaril y during
this test. This is okay.
(1) Close the shutoff v alves in the wings and in the propeller test tube as s emblies .
(2) Make sure that the empennage te st tube assem bly is op en.
(3) Put the EXTERNAL POWER switch to the BUS position.
(4) Put the F LUID CONTROL P RIMA RY s witch t o the HIGH position.
(5) Limit fluid flow through the empennage shutoff valve until the pressure gage shows 60 psi
+15 psi or −15 ps i.
(6) Do an inspection for leaks of the pressurized uid lines and connections in the airplane.
(7) If there are leaks, you m us t put the FLUID CONTROL PRIMA RY s witch in the OFF position,
release the pressure in t he lines, and repair the leaks bef ore you cont inue with this test.
(8) Close the empennage shutoff val ve.
(9) When the p ressure ga ge shows more than 150 psi, put the FLUID CONTROL PRI MARY
switch to the OFF position.
(10) Make su re that the amber A -ICE HI GH comes on.
(11) Once agai n, do an inspection for leaks of the press urized uid lines and connect ions in the
airplane. If there are leaks, y ou must release th e pressure in the lines and repair the leaks
before you continue wi th this test.
(12) Slowly open all of th e test tube shu toff valves to release the fluid pressure.
(13) Put t he EXTERNAL P OWER s witc h to the OFF position.
(14) Disconne ct all of the ve test tube assemblies.
(15) Install new sealing rings and seal s (t hree 101-013-8810 Seals at th e proportioning units, one
S2800-942 Sealing Ring a t t he propeller s upply line, and one S 2800-943 Sealing R ing at the
windshield supply line) and connect the v e fluid supply lines to t heir correct connections on
the proportioni ng units and engine firewa ll.
CAUTION: Before you begin t he pane l purge, you must make sure that the fay seal cures for 7 2 hours
and you must make sure that the fillet seal is no longer tacky.
30. Do the panel p urge and complete system functiona l test as follows:
A. Put a label on each wing t ube asse mbl y to m ak e s ure t hat you attac h it to the correct related
proportioning tube port after you c omplete the f unc tional test. R efe r to Ta ble 3.
