• The LED signal light continues to flash until the measured tem-
perature is within the alarm limits again.
8. Temperature unit setting
• Press the °C/°F button and you can change between Celsius
(°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) as temperature unit.
9. Care and maintenance
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for an
extended period of time.
9.1 Battery replacement
• Change the batteries when the display becomes weak.
• To open and close the battery compartment, the release button
must be pressed down firmly with a pointed object.
• Open the battery compartment by turning the lid to the left (in
the arrow direction OPEN) using a coin and insert two new
LR44 batteries (+pole above).
• Close the battery compartment by turning the lid to the right (in
the arrow direction CLOSE).
• The lid is correctly closed when the release button is locked in
place.
• Note:
The instrument must be switched off before changing the bat-
teries.
• Attention:
Close the battery compartment carefully, so that no water can
get in. Pay attention to the sealing ring.

11. Waste disposal
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner
using the collection systems that have been set up.
Disposal of the electrical device
Remove non-permanently installed batteries and
rechargeable batteries from the device and dispose of
them separately.

hold waste. As a consumer, you are required to take end-
of-life devices to a designated collection point for the dis-
posal of electrical and electronic equipment, in order to
