Configuration Parameters

TCE 621 PZI ID Parameter

Parameter: The TCE 621 PZI Id.

Red IP and Subnet Mask Parameter

Parameter: Red IP address and subnet mask.

Black IP and Subnet Mask Parameter

Parameter: Black IP address and subnet mask.

Black Default Router IP Parameter

Parameter: IP address to Black Default Router.

PZMC ID for Management Centre Parameter

Parameter: PZMC id. to preferred management centre.

Management Communication IP Version Parameter

Parameter: Use IP version 4 or 6 for management communication.

Management Workstation IP Parameter

Parameter: IP address to preferred management workstation.

Management Front-End Unit IP Parameter

Parameter: IP address to preferred management front-end unit.

Initial Configuration Steps

Smart-Card and Safety Switch

Insert Crypto Ignition Key (Smart-Card). Switch EMERGENCY ERASE to right (off).

Power On and Software Version Check

Switch Power ON, wait for Self Test. Display shows SOFTWARE VERSON. Press Enter.

PZI ID and Password Entry

Enter PZI Id. Enter and verify Operator password. Enter and verify Security password.

Data Entry and Location Selection

Select Data Entry from Keypad. Select Location> User-Loc.

Operation Mode and KVT Distribution

Set Mode to Auto. Set KVT distribution control (Conditional or Unconditional).

Network and IP Parameter Settings

Enter Own IP addresses, subnet masks, and router IP. Set IP version. Enter management workstation/front-end IPs.

IP-Params and Time Setting

Select IP-Params (TOS+TrafficClass, Flow Label). Set time: Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, Second.

Key Loading Methods

Loading Clear-Text Keys from DTD

Menu: Fill devices> Security password> DTD> Red Key. Select Xmit> Fill. Connect DTD to TCE 621. Press Enter.

Loading Keys from Smart-Card

Menu: Fill devices> Security password> Smart-Card. Follow display instructions. Insert smart-card, press Enter.
