Installation Instructions Wall to Wall

Gate is recommended for children betweeen 6 and 24 months. If installing at top of stairs,install a minimum of
three inches from end of rst step.

1. Install hinge bracket (A) to wall (stationary
side of gate) using Phillips screw (C) drill
pilot hole 6 1/2” above oor surface. (Use
ruler on left edge of this sheet to measure
from oor).
OPTION: Long screws (J) maybe be used to
attach gate to stud dry wall.
2. Install second screw (C) in top of hinge
bracket securing it to the wall.
3. Insert eye bolts with nut and washer (E) into
top and bottom of hinge side gate (side with
three holes). Be sure nuts are tight. Do not
use middle hole for this step.

Summary

Initial Wall Mounting Steps

Install Hinge Bracket to Wall

Install hinge bracket (A) to wall using Phillips screw (C) drill pilot hole 6 1/2" above floor surface.

Secure Hinge Bracket

Install second screw (C) in top of hinge bracket securing it to the wall.

Attach Eye Bolts to Gate

Insert eye bolts with nut and washer (E) into top and bottom of hinge side gate (side with three holes).

Gate Assembly and Adjustment

Hang Gate on Wall Mount

Hang gate inserting hinge rod (B) through hinge bracket (A), eye bolts, and lower washer (F).

Mount Latch Assembly

Mount latch assembly (K) to gate and attach wall mount (H) using screws.

Set Gate Width

Use Allen wrench (G) to insert set screws (L) in the upper and lower brackets to set gate width.

Slipcover Installation

Prepare Gate for Slipcover

Lay the gate on the ground with the latch at the top and slipcover logo facing down.

Slide Slipcover On

Unzip the bottom and slide the slipcover over the gate, ensuring it does not snag.

Secure and Adjust Slipcover

Zip the bottom of the slipcover and adjust fabric for proper fit, ensuring logo is centered.

Cleaning and Care Instructions

Clean Stair Barrier fabrics with a soft brush and vacuum; use mild solvent for tough stains. DO NOT MACHINE WASH.
