SECTION 1 The Fort Frame

Step 1: Create Two A-Frames

Learn how to construct two A-Frames using posts and crossbeams for the fort structure.

Step 2: Attach 2 Floor Beams

Connect the floor beams to the posts of one A-frame structure.

Step 3: Connect Both A-Frames

Join the two A-frame structures together using floor beams for stability.

Step 4: Attach Braces

Secure braces between posts and crossbeams to reinforce the fort frame.

Step 5: Install Deck Floors

Place the deck floors onto the support bars of the crossbeams.

Step 6: Attach Ladder, Slide & Top Cross Beams

Mount the ladder, slide, and final crossbeams to the fort structure.

Step 7: Attach Vertical Boards & Crossbar

Install vertical boards and a crossbar on the deck floor for added structure.

Step 8: Screw the Deck Floors in Place

Securely fasten the deck floors using pocket holes and screws.

SECTION 2: “ULTIMATE” SWINGSET Walls, Extension Beams & Other Attachments

Step 9: Attach Climbing Wall

Mount the climbing wall onto the playset structure as per separate instructions.

Step 10: Attach Walls

Install the four wall panels onto the main fort structure.

Step 11: Attach the Extension Beam

Connect the extension beam kit to the playset according to its instructions.

Rope Ladder

Attach the rope ladder to the extension beam and secure it to the ground.

Step 12: Spiral Slide

Assemble and attach the spiral slide to the fort structure.

Step 13: Picnic Table

Install the picnic table underneath the deck floor on a specific side of the fort.

Step 14: Chalkboard

Mount the chalkboard to the inside of two posts on the playset.

SECTION 3 The Swing Beam & A-Frame; Tarp Roof

Step 1: Attach Fort Bracket

Secure the fort bracket onto the upper crossbeam of the playset.

Step 2 & 3: Attach A-Frame Bracket to Swing Beam

Connect the A-frame bracket to the untrimmed end of the swing beam.

Step 4: Attach A-Frame Legs to Swing Beam

Slide the A-frame legs into the bracket and loosely attach with bolts.

Step 5: Lift Swing Beam onto Fort Bracket

Position and secure the swing beam assembly onto the fort bracket.

Step 6: Attach the Cross Bar & Tighten the A-Frame Bracket

Attach the cross bar to the A-frame legs and tighten all brackets.

Step 7: Install Tarp Roof

Spread and secure the tarp evenly over the top beams of the playset.

Step 8: Ship Wheel, Telescope & Flag.

Install the ship wheel, telescope, and flag to complete the playset.
