2. Expanding WiPro with wireless accessories
Additional wireless magnetic contacts, cable loops, remote controls and gas alarms
can be stored in the unit during the initial installation as described in the installation
manual (Chapter 1.8).
Alternatively, accessories can also easily be assigned to the main unit as described
below.
1. Close driver’s cab doors
2. Disconnect power supply from the main unit
(remove fuse or plug)
3. Reconnect power supply
4. On a remote control which has already been assigned, press the large
button 5 times consecutively.
(This will cause WiPro to change status several times; the assign mode is
indicated when the status LED is illuminated.)
5. Initiate/conrmnewaccessories
(WiPro acknowledges each successful assignment by sounding the
internal beeper)
6. Again, disconnect and reconnect the power supply.
The new accessories are now assigned and ready for use.
Proceed as follows to delete all wireless components:
1. Close driver’s cab doors
2. Disconnect power supply from the main unit
(remove fuse or plug)
3. Reconnect power supply
4. Ontheremotecontrolwhichwasassignedrst
(master remote control) press the small button 5 times consecutively
(this causes WiPro to change status several times, clearing the memory
andnallyswitchingtoassignmode.Theclearingofmemoryisconrmed
by one long beep.)
5. Either assign new accessories or continue with step 6.
6. Again, disconnect and reconnect the power supply.
All accessories are now deleted, with the exception of the master remote control.
For safety reasons, both the assign command and the delete command are
enabled only within the rst 30 seconds after restoring the power supply
with an authorised wireless remote control which has already been saved
in the system memory.
