This document is the Use & Care Manual for the THOR Kitchen 30-inch Built-In Professional Microwave Speed Oven with Airfry, model TM030. It covers installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for this combination oven.
Function Description:
The THOR Kitchen TM030 is a built-in combination oven that integrates hot air (convection), microwave, and airfry functions. It is designed for household and similar applications, offering versatile cooking capabilities. The appliance can operate in solo microwave mode, convection mode (bake and roast), broil mode, and airfry mode, as well as combination modes. It features automatic programs for various food types, including defrosting, sensor cooking, and specific airfry recipes. The oven is intended for heating food and beverages, and it is not suitable for drying food or clothing, or heating warming pads, slippers, sponges, or damp cloths, as these may lead to injury, ignition, or fire.

- Installation Requirements:
- 1/4" space between the side of the appliance and an adjacent wall or cabinet door.
- Flat cabinet base capable of supporting approximately 90 pounds.
- Appliance door overlaps furniture below by approx 3/16" when opened.
- Minimum 1/4" air gap between the appliance and cabinet walls (1/8" each side).
- Fitted cabinet must not have a back wall behind the appliance.
- Minimum 1 3/4" gap between the wall and the base or back panel of the unit above.
- Ventilation opening of 38 3/4 in² in the base (by cutting back base panel or fitting a grill).
- Ventilation slots and intakes must not be covered.

Usage Features:
- Control Panel: Features touch keys for various functions and a display for settings.
- Time Setting: Allows setting the clock (12-hour format) and cooking time (up to 99:99 minutes).
- Convection Mode:
- Bake mode: 250~400 °F
- Roast mode: 300~450 °F
- Preheating is recommended for optimal cooking results.
- Microwave Mode:
- 11 different power levels, with default being level 10 (100% output) if not specified.
- Power levels range from 0% (Work with fan for no power, remove odor) to 100% (Boiling water, cooking ground meat).
- Speedy microwave cooking: Quick-start at highest power level, increasing time in 30-second increments.
- Multi-stage cooking: Allows setting multiple stages with different power levels and cook times.
- Rapid Preheating: Reaches set temperature quickly (100-450°F). Food should only be placed in the oven once preheating is complete.
- Automatic Programmes (Auto Menu): 8 pre-set programs for various foods like chicken breasts, whole poultry, beef roast, pork chops, meatloaf, and fish fillets, based on weight.
- Defrosting Programmes: 2 programs for ground meat and meat pieces, based on weight (0.50-3.00 kg). Requires food to be removed from packaging and weighed. Resting time is recommended after defrosting.
- Popcorn Feature: Pops 3 different bag sizes (1.2 oz, 2.5 oz, 3.5 oz) of commercially packaged microwave popcorn. Oven should not be left unattended.
- Beverage Feature: Heats 0.5 to 2 cups of beverages.
- Pizza Mode: Bakes three types of pizza: frozen, fresh, and microwave pizza.
- Temperature range for fresh/frozen pizza: 375 to 450°F (190 to 230°C).
- Can use metal tray for fresh/frozen pizza, ceramic tray for microwave pizza.

- Sensor Cooking: Automatically determines cooking time and power levels for various foods (e.g., baked potato, ground meat, fresh vegetables, fish/seafood, frozen entrees). Food should start at normal storage temperature, be covered loosely, and the oven should not be opened during sensing time.
- Sensor Reheat: Reheats dinner plates or casseroles (8-16 oz.) automatically.
- Broil Mode: Uses intense heat from the upper element with two intensity levels (High/Low). Always use a bake tray.
- Airfry Cooking: 10 automatic programs for airfry foods (e.g., French fries, sweet potato, chicken pieces, spring rolls, churros, apple pie). Manual cook option allows adjusting time and temperature (300-450°F). Always use a bake tray.
- Childproof Lock: Activates by holding the "Panel lock" key for approx. 3 seconds, preventing accidental operation. Deactivated by holding the same key. Not operational when other cooking programs are set.
- Cooling Fan: Operates during and for a certain time after operation. Ventilation slots must not be covered to prevent overheating.
Maintenance Features:
- General Cleaning:
- Clean regularly to remove food deposits and prevent deterioration of surfaces.
- Use a soft cloth with warm (not hot) mild detergent solution. Rinse and wipe completely dry.
- Wipe spatters immediately, especially after cooking greasy foods.
- Clean weekly or more often as needed.
- Never operate the microwave oven without food in the cavity, unless pre-heating or keeping warm, to prevent damage to the magnetron tube or ceramic tray. Leaving a cup of water inside the oven can help prevent damage if accidentally turned on.
- Specific Cleaning Areas:
- Oven Cavity: Use damp, clean cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners. For baked-on food, heat 2 cups of water (with lemon juice for odor) at High power for 5 minutes, then let stand for 1-2 minutes to loosen.
- Wire Rack: Wash with soapy water, rinse, and dry. Can be washed in the dishwasher.
- Metal Turntable Tray: Wash in warm sudsy water or in the dishwasher.
- Ceramic Tray: Clean with warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher.
- Door Seal: Wipe with damp cloth.
- Door Glass: Wash with soap and water or glass cleaner. Avoid powder cleaning agents, steel wool pads, and oven cleaners. Wipe steam with a soft cloth.
- Painted Surfaces: Clean with hot soapy water or Fantastik®/Formula 409® on a sponge/paper towel. Avoid powder cleaning agents, steel wool pads, and oven cleaners.
- Stainless Steel Surfaces/Exterior Surfaces: Wipe or rub in the direction of the grain. Clean with soapy sponge, then rinse and dry, or Fantastik®/Formula 409® spray on a paper towel. Polish with Stainless Steel Magic® and a soft cloth. Remove water spots with a cloth dampened with white vinegar.
- Plastic & Controls: When cool, clean with soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Printed Areas: Do not use abrasive cleaners or petroleum-based solvents.
- Safety Precautions for Cleaning:
- Ensure appliance has cooled and grease has solidified before cleaning.
- Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, sharp metal scrapers, hard scouring pads, or sponges.
- Do not use high-pressure cleaners or steam cleaners.
- Never use metal or glass scrapers on the oven door glass or door seal.
- Do not use cleaning agents with high concentrations of alcohol.
- If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must not be operated until repaired by a competent person.
