Usage Features:
The water heater features a control panel with an ON/OFF button, a display, and a SET button for temperature selection.
- Initial Setup: Before operation, open a hot water tap, then open the cold water inlet tap. The water heater will fill, indicated by a steady flow of water from the hot water tap, at which point the hot water tap can be closed. The cold water inlet tap should remain open during normal operation.
- Power Connection: Insert the electrical plug into a properly grounded socket.
- Operation: Turn on the water heater using the ON/OFF button. The display will show the current water temperature and heating mode.
- Temperature Adjustment: Use the SET button to select the desired heating temperature. Each press of the SET button changes the temperature by 5 °C. The adjustable temperature range is 30-75 °C.
- Automatic Temperature Maintenance: The water heater automatically maintains the set water temperature. Heating automatically switches off when the desired temperature is reached and switches on again if the temperature drops below the set level.
- Shutdown: To turn off the water heater, press the ON/OFF button and unplug it from the socket.
Safety Precautions:
- Ensure the water heater is properly grounded.
- Do not operate without a safety relief valve installed on the inlet nozzle.
- The pressure-relief device must be activated regularly to prevent scale buildup and ensure proper operation.
- Never drain water if its temperature is above 50 °C to avoid burns.
- Do not modify or alter the design of the water heater.
- Do not use the water heater in explosive or corrosive environments.
- Keep the power cord away from sharp edges, hot surfaces, and flammable substances.
- If the product has been exposed to temperatures below 0°C, keep it at room temperature for at least 2 hours before turning it on.
- Children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, may use the appliance if supervised and instructed on safe use. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
- The water heater is equipped with a thermal switch that disconnects power to the heating element if the water overheats. If the water heater is plugged in but not heating, and the indicator is off, the thermal switch may have tripped. To reset, disconnect power, remove the bottom cover, and press the button on the thermal switch (round shape, near the heating element) until a click is heard. If the button cannot be pressed, wait for the thermal switch to cool down.
Maintenance Features:
- Electrical Connection Check: Regularly check the electrical plug and socket for a secure connection and proper grounding. The plug and socket should not overheat.
- Draining for Non-Use/Freezing Prevention: If the water heater is not used for a long time, especially in cold regions (below 0°C), drain the water from the internal tank to prevent damage from freezing.
- Internal Tank Cleaning and Anode Check: To ensure reliable long-term operation and maintain the manufacturer's warranty, the internal tank must be periodically cleaned, and deposits on the heating element removed. The protective magnesium anode's condition (degree of degradation) should be checked and replaced with a new one if fully degraded. The magnesium anode should be replaced at least once a year to maintain the manufacturer's warranty. The frequency of tank cleaning depends on the water hardness in the area.
- Safety Relief Valve Check: Check the safety relief valve every 14 days. To do this, move the drain knob to the up position until a thread is felt, and water should flow from the pressure relief port. Return the knob to its previous position after checking. If water does not flow, the valve is faulty, and the water heater should not be used; contact a service center.
- External Cleaning: Clean the outer surfaces of the water heater with a damp cloth and soap as needed.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a table of possible malfunctions and remedies. If issues persist or other malfunctions occur, contact an authorized service center.
