3) Cutting the fork steer tube
- Determine the length of steer tube to be cut.
- Remove the stem (without removing the spacers).
- Make the cut, being careful not to wander (use a sharp metal cutting blade) (fig.7)
- Clean the carbon burrs and sawdust.

We advise you to cut the steer tube with a saw guide (type VAR FH 92900).
The cut must be made perpendicular to the pivot axis.
