What causes unusual noise in my Titan 1507?
    • S
      Sean NelsonSep 10, 2025
Unusual noise in your Titan Cutter can be caused by loose blade bolts or worn bushings, so tighten the bolts and check the bushings for wear, replacing them as needed. Bent blade carrier or blades can also cause unusual noises, so replace the blade carrier. Additionally, a bent deck causing the blades to contact it can be the source, so straighten the deck.

Why is grass cut lower in the center than the edge with my Titan Cutter?
    • D
      Daniel Griffin PhDSep 12, 2025
If the grass is cut lower in the center of the swath than at the edge with your Titan Cutter, it's likely because the height of the rotary cutter is lower at the rear or front. Adjust the rotary cutter height and attitude so that the rear and front are within 1/2" of the same height.

Why won't the driveline telescope on my Titan 1507 Cutter?
    • C
      Charles EvansSep 13, 2025
If the driveline on your Titan Cutter won't telescope, it could be due to improper lubrication, so grease the driveline. A twisted driveline can also prevent telescoping, requiring you to replace it. Ensure the operator does not strike the ground with the blades. A bent driveline, often caused by being too long, should be replaced and shortened to the proper length. Damaged shields should also be replaced.

Why is the driveline twisted on my Titan 1507?
    • A
      Alice MitchellSep 15, 2025
The driveline on your Titan Cutter might be twisted because it was overtorqued; avoid allowing the blades to contact the ground. Also, failing to maintain the correct PTO speed can cause this, so maintain 540 RPM PTO speed.

Why is my Titan 1507 Cutter leaving uncut material?
    • B
      Benjamin AdkinsSep 18, 2025
If your Titan Cutter is leaving uncut material, it might be due to excessive ground speed, so reduce it. Also, ensure that the RPM is not too low; maintain 540 RPM PTO speed.

What to do if the Titan 1507 material discharges unevenly?
    • D
      David GrimesNov 23, 2025
If your Titan Cutter discharges material unevenly, creating bunches along the swath, it could be due to several factors. If the material is too high or there's too much of it, reduce ground speed while maintaining 540 RPM at the tractor PTO, or make two passes over the material, raising the rotary cutter for the first pass and lowering it to the desired height for the second, cutting at 90° to the first pass. Also, ensure the rear of the rotary cutter is high enough to allow material discharge, but not so high as to cause other issues. Wet grass can also cause this issue, so allow the grass to dry before mowing and slow the tractor's ground speed while keeping the engine at full PTO RPM. Lastly, the rear of the rotary cutter might be too low, trapping material underneath; adjust the rotary...
