! WARNING: Use caution when changing oil to avoid burns!
CAUTION:
• If the scooter is used in excessively wet areas, or used in severe conditions replace
the transmission oil more often than recommended.
• Make sure that the fill and drain plugs are tight and not leaking.
• Make sure that no foreign substances fall into the transmission box.
AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE
The air filter should be cleaned and inspected every 1000km interval.
1. Remove the tail lamp cover and trim strip on the left side and rear of the scooter.
2. Remove the screws that hold the cover of the air cleaner in place and lift off the air
cleaner cover. (see page 14 for air box location)
3. Lift out the air filter screen and cartridge.
4. Clean the screen and cartridge with compressed air.
5. Reassemble the air filter components and back end of the scooter.
