1. Stop the engine and disconnect the
battery cable from the battery nega-
tive (-) terminal.
2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Remove the fuse box lid.
4. Remove the fuse and check it. If the
fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse
of the same specified rating. The
outboard motor is supplied with
spare fuses in the spare fuse holder.
