OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Study and understand the controls.1.
Read the safety decals on the vehicle. 2.
Disconnect the battery charger cable if connected.3.
Wear advised gear for protection while operating.4.
Secure the foot restraint nets.5.
Sit in the driver’s seat and fasten seat belt.6.
Adjust rear view mirrors to ensure maximum 7.
awareness view area.
Make sure everyone is seated with seat belts properly

fastened.
Turn the wheels in the desired direction of motion.

Apply the brakes.10.
Place the direction selector in neutral (N).11.
Turn the key to the ON position. Wait about a second 12.
for the contractor to close before continuing.
Shift lever from N to L or H.

Move the direction selector to (F) forward or (R) 14.
reverse.
Check your surroundings and determine your path of

travel.
Release Parking Brake.

Keeping both hands on the steering wheel, release the 17.
brake pedal and gradually push the accelerator toward
the oor to begin driving.
Drive slowly. Practice maneuvering and using the

accelerator and brakes on level surfaces.
Do not carry a passenger until you have at least two
19.
hours of driving experience with this vehicle. Never
carry more than one passenger in this vehicle. Never
allow a passenger to ride in the cargo box, unless in a
Tomberlin authorized seat kit.
Use the brake to stop and limit vehicle speed.

To stop the vehicle, release the accelerator pedal 21.
completely and brake to a complete stop.
Set the park brake.
