What to do if TomTom GPS device may not start correctly?

If your TomTom GPS device isn't starting or responding to taps, the first thing to check is the battery charge. Connect your device to the car charger and allow up to 2 hours for a full charge. If charging doesn't resolve the issue, turn off your device, wait 10 seconds, and then use a straightened paper clip to push the reset button on the bottom of the device.
