What to do if motor runs but pad or brush does not turn on my Tornado Floor Machine?
    • G
      Gregory FletcherAug 12, 2025
If the motor of your Tornado Floor Machine runs but the pad or brush doesn't turn, the coupling may be broken and needs to be replaced. Note that coupling is not covered under warranty. To prevent this, avoid placing a running machine over a block or brush; always place and remove them by hand.

Why won't my Tornado 97562 start?
    • J
      joseph16Aug 27, 2025
If your Tornado Floor Machine won't start, several issues could be the cause. Ensure the circuit breaker is reset. If that doesn't work, the plug may be broken or have a loose contact and needs replacement. A defective or weak circuit breaker can also prevent starting and should be replaced. Finally, the switch itself might be defective, requiring replacement.

If your Tornado Floor Machine isn't reaching operating speed, try unplugging other devices from the same circuit or using a different circuit to ensure the machine receives enough power.

What to do if my Tornado Floor Machine does not run?
    • W
      Wendy BurgessSep 12, 2025
If your Tornado Floor Machine isn't running, there are a few potential causes. First, the circuit breaker may have tripped; allow it two minutes to cool before resetting. Second, the plug might be broken or have a loose contact, in which case it should be replaced. To prevent future circuit overloads, check the pad and replace it if it's rough or dirty. Remember that spray buffing or spray cleaning isn't a substitute for scrubbing or mopping. Prepare the floor surface before spray buffing. Ensure any extension cord is 12/3 wire or less than 25 feet. Also, try unplugging other devices from the circuit or using a different circuit.
