      If the Toro Snow Blower engine doesn't start or starts with difficulty, make sure the key is inserted into the ignition and turned to the On position. Check that the choke is in the On position and the primer has been pressed two times. Also, the fuel tank may be empty or contain stale fuel; in this case, drain the tank and refill it with a fresh gasoline-and-oil mixture (not more than 30 days old). If the engine is flooded, move the choke to the Off position and pull the rope several times. Ensure the spark-plug wire is securely connected to the spark plug and inspect the spark plug itself, adjusting the gap if needed or replacing it if pitted, fouled, or cracked. Finally, check for any restrictions in the fuel cap vent.

If the power cord is worn, corroded, or damaged, replace it. Ensure the power outlet is energized; if not, have a qualified electrician energize it.
