PreventingFreeze-upafterUse
Lettheenginerunforafewminutestopreventmoving
partsfromfreezing.Stoptheengine,waitforallmoving
partstostop,andremoveiceandsnowfromthemachine.
Cleanoffanysnowandicefromthebaseofthechute.
Rotatethedischargechuteleftandrighttofreeitfrom
anyicebuildup.
WiththeignitionkeyintheOffposition,pulltherecoil
starterhandleseveraltimesorconnecttheelectricalcord
toapowersourceandthemachineandpushtheelectric
startbuttononce(model38589only)topreventtherecoil
starterand/ortheelectricstarterfromfreezingup.
Insnowyandcoldconditions,somecontrolsandmoving
partsmayfreeze.Donotuseexcessiveforcewhen
tryingtooperatefrozencontrols.Ifyouhavedifculty
operatinganycontrolorpart,starttheengineandletit
runforafewminutes.
