theprotectivecoverremoved.

safetyprecautions.Withregularuse,itwillneedshorter
chargingtime.Ifstoringforaprolongedperiodoftime,
removethebattery.Whenreadytouseagain,charge
thebatterypackuntiltheLEDindicatorsturngreen.
5.Placeonehandonthetriggerhandle.Placetheotherhand
ontheauxiliaryhandle(Figure2).
6.Slidethelockswitchbackwards,towardsyou,thensqueeze
thetriggerswitchtoturnonthehedgetrimmer(
Figure2).
Thetrimmerwillstayonaslongasthetriggerswitchis
squeezed.Lock-offswitchmaybereleasedoncehedge
trimmerisrunning(
Figure2).

StoppingtheHedgeTrimmer
1.Releasethetriggerswitch(Figure2).
2.Allowatleast5secondsforthecuttingbladetostopmoving.
ChargingtheBatteryPack
Important:Forbestresults,yourbatterypackshouldbe
chargedinalocationwherethetemperatureismorethan0°
C(32°F)butlessthan40°C(104°F).Toreducetheriskof
seriouspersonalinjury,donotstoreoutsideorinvehicles.
Chargingtimewillincreaseifitisnotchargedwithinthis
range.
1.Turnthebatteryupsidedownandlineupthebatteryterminal
withtheslotinthecharger(Figure4andFigure5).
