Batteryelectrolytecontainssulfuricacid,
whichispoisonousandcancausesevere
burns.Swallowingelectrolytecanbefatalor
ifittouchesskincancausesevereburns.
•Wearsafetyglassestoshieldeyesand
rubberglovestoprotectskinandclothing
whenhandlingelectrolyte.
•Donotswallowelectrolyte.
•Intheeventofanaccident,ushwithwater
andcalladoctorimmediately.
WARNING
IftheignitionisintheONposition,there
ispotentialforsparksandengagement
ofcomponents.Sparkscouldcausean
explosionormovingpartscouldaccidentally
engagecausingpersonalinjury.
BesurethattheignitionswitchisintheOFF
positionbeforechargingthebattery.
Locatethebattery-mountinghardwareandinstallthe
negativebatterycable.RefertoInstallingtheBattery
intheOperator'sManual.
Note:Ifthepositivecableisalsodisconnected,
connectthepositive(red)cabletothepositivebattery
terminalrst,thenthenegative(black)cabletothe
negativebatteryterminal.Sliptheinsulatorbootover
thepositiveterminal.
Note:Iftimedoesnotpermitchargingthebattery,
orifchargingequipmentisnotavailable,connect
thenegativebatterycableandrunthevehicle
continuouslyfor20to30minutestosufcientlycharge
thebattery.

batteryinanenclosedspace.
Important:Donotrunthemachinewiththe
batterydisconnected;electricaldamagemay
occurtotheengine.
