11.ApplyaT eonpipesealanttothe3largeoil
plugsandinstallthemintothegearbox.

dustyconditions).
Yearly—Repackthecaster-wheelbearings
(moreoftenindirtyordustyconditions).
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Removethedustcapandadjustthecaster
pivotsandkeepthedustcapoffuntilgreasingis
done;refertoGreasingtheCaster-WheelHubs
(page35).
4.Removethehexplug.
5.Threadagreasettingintothehole.
6.Pumpgreaseintothettinguntilitoozesout
aroundthetopbearing.
7.Removethegreasettingfromthehole.Install
thehexplugandcap.
